Requests for home visits are made by phoning 0141 800 7040 and, where possible, should be made before 10am.
Calls are vetted by the doctor on-call as a matter of routine. Please anticipate that a doctor may wish to phone you before making a visit.
The receptionist needs to know name, date of birth, address, contact telephone number and a brief explanation of your problem.
Please do not ask for a doctor to call unless the patient is really too ill or infirm to come to the surgery. Remember that the doctor can see four patients in the time it takes to make one visit and there are better facilities for examination and treatment in the surgery. Patients who feel unwell, particularly children, can travel to the surgery without risking any harm.
